This is an action of tort to recover compensation for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff, who is a minor. The case was tried to a jury. At the close of the plaintiff’s evidence the defendant rested and moved for a directed verdict in its favor. The motion was denied subject to the defendant’s exception and the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff. The defendant then moved for entry of verdict in its favor under leave which had been reserved. That motion was also denied and the defendant duly excepted.
