THOMPSON, Presiding Judge.
J.L. (“the father”) appeals from a judgment finding his child, L.L. (“the child”), dependent and awarding custody of the child to W.E. and S.E. (“the maternal grandparents”).
The record indicates the following. The father and R.L. (“the mother”) divorced within a year of the birth of the child, who was born in May 2007.
