for the Court:

¶ 1. A jury in the Neshoba County Circuit Court convicted Lewis Thompson of possession of methamphetamine (Count I) and possession of precursor chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine *694(Count II). He was sentenced to sixteen years without the possibility of parole, suspension, probation or reduction on Count I and sixty years without the possibility of parole, suspension, probation or reduction on Count II.
