The Texas Company, a corporation, with its principal office in Houston, Harris county, owned what are termed oil and gas leases upon certain lands situated in Wichita county. The company instituted this suit to enjoin the tax collector, tax assessor, and the county commissioners of Wichita county from enforcing the collection of county and state taxes which had been assessed against the company upon those leases.
