MEMORANDUM OPINION

DOUGLAS O. TICE, Jr., Bankruptcy Judge.

The debtor-in-possession in this chapter 11 case seeks by motion to set aside a foreclosure sale of his residence located at 1816 Upshur Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. Since the debtor’s motion requests the Court to invoke its equity powers pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 105(a), an adversary proceeding is required by Bankruptcy Rule 7001. Therefore, this matter will be considered as a continuation of Adversary Proceeding No. 87-0011-A, from which Chief Judge Martin V.B.
