MAJOR, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgement finding the defendant guilty of a criminal contempt of court. A fine was imposed in the sum of $48,000, to be paid to the United States, and the costs of the proceeding assessed-against the defendant. The action was instituted on May 1, 1946, by the plaintiff’s request for prosecution, alleging that the defendant violated the provisions of an Injunction Order of the United States District Court entered on September 24, 1945, restraining the defendant, its officers, agents, servants, employees and representatives from selling or offering…
