Plaintiff Valeria Nunez Cruz brings this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) to obtain judicial review of the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (“Commissioner”) denying her claim for disability insurance benefits under the Social Security Act. The Commissioner moved for judgment on the pleadings pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(c), and Cruz has cross-moved for judgment on the pleadings. The parties consented to having this matter decided by a United States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(c).…
