OPINION

CHIN, District Judge.

In these consolidated cases arising out of the loss of the M/V DG HARMONY, certain non-vessel carrier defendants (the “Carrier Defendants”) seek indemnification from defendant PPG Industries, Inc. (“PPG”) for amounts they paid to settle claims asserted against them by cargo and vessel interests and for their litigation expenses. 1 Before the Court are the Carrier Defendants’ motions for summary judgment. For the reasons that follow, the motions are denied and summary judgment will be entered in favor of PPG dismissing the claims for indemnification.
