Grey, Judge.

This is an appeal from the Jackson Municipal Court. Stacey was convicted of violating Jackson Municipal Code 335.07, driving while under suspension. At trial, he unsuccessfully challenged the charging ordinance. We reverse.

On March 8, 1993, Officer Jordan of the Jackson Police Department stopped Stacey’s vehicle for a headlight infraction. When asked for his driver’s license, Stacey said he didn’t have it with him and produced his Social Security Card. Jordan radioed the number to the dispatcher and a computer check revealed that Stacey was under court suspension for a prior DUI.…
