This case involves a peremptory exception of prescription. Appellant, Faubourg Saint Charles, LLC ("FSC"), filed suit (the "Petition") against Appellee, Faubourg Saint Charles Homeowners Association, Inc. ("HOA"), alleging it was entitled to reimbursement for monies advanced to HOA for the years 2012 through 2016. The district court sustained HOA's peremptory exception of prescription finding that the sums advanced by FSC to HOA before February 27, 2015 were monies lent subject to a three-year prescriptive period.
