¶ 1. Willie B. Taylor was convicted of receiving stolen property, in the Circuit Court of Madison County, Mississippi. Taylor subsequently filed a motion for a new trial, or in the alternative, a judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV)- The trial court denied this motion. On appeal, Taylor raises the following issues: (1) whether the trial court committed reversible error in allowing the State of Mississippi to admit into evidence Exhibit 5, and (2) whether the trial court erred in failing to grant Taylor’s motion for a new trial or JNOV.
