Roy Leonard Wilcox, Jr. filed an application with the district court seeking to overcome a prior adjudication of paternity and to be relieved of the consequent court-ordered obligations to pay past and future child support for the minor child, Joshua Thomas Baumgartner. In his application, Wilcox claimed he was not the child’s father. Subsequent blood and genetic tests confirmed Wilcox’s claim, and the district court entered an order relieving him of all past and future support obligations on behalf of Joshua.
