Wittner, J., at jury trial and sentence), rendered June 16, 2005, convicting defendant of attempted murder in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, attempted rape in the first degree, assault in the second degree, and two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, and sentencing him, as a persistent violent felony offender, to an aggregate term of 37 years to life, unanimously affirmed.
