The appellant, the Arkansas Stave Company, is a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Arkansas, and is doing business in Craighead County.
The grand jury of that county returned three indictments against appellant, charging it with violating the provisions of the act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled “An act requiring corporations doing business in Arkansas to have two regular pay days each month,” which was approved February 1, 1909 (Acts 1909, p. 21).
