Leo and Maxine Warren (collectively, “the Warrens”) filed suit against siblings Dewayne and Juanita Dunlap (collectively, “the Dunlaps”) alleging, among other things, that the Warrens had acquired title to a triangular-shaped parcel of real estate (“the triangular parcel”) through adverse possession and had also acquired a ten-foot-wide prescriptive easement over another parcel of real estate.1 The trial court found that the Warrens failed to meet their burden of proving either claim.
