The record on appeal in this case consists of the judgment roll alone, and from the finding of fact made by the trial court it appeal's that on February 17, 19Q6, the Drayton Milling Company, a corporation, made and delivered to the plaintiff its promissory note for $6,000, which note was indorsed as follows: “Pay Northern State Bank, Grand Forks, N. D., or order. For value received, I hereby guarantee the payment of the within note and hereby waive presentment, demand, protest and notice of protest.” This writing upon the back of the note was signed by the defendant and appellant, Bellamy,…
