At issue is an order of a District Court judge directing the Commonwealth to produce to the defendants “statistical data” to be derived by the Commonwealth from uniform motor vehicle citations (and other information). The citations were issued by the State trooper who arrested the *452defendants after a traffic stop. The Commonwealth, asserting that the information is not subject to discovery under Mass. R. Crim.
