TOOMEY, Judge:

¶ 1 Bill Robert Thompson was intoxicated and enraged when he assaulted and threatened people at his house, then got behind the wheel of his full-sized pickup track and sped away. He eventually ran a red light, hitting seven other vehicles, injuring several people and killing another.
