HOLSCHUH, District Judge.
The government appeals the district court’s decision granting Defendant Steven Eugene Smith’s motion to suppress evidence obtained as the result of a traffic stop. On appeal, the government contends that the district court committed two errors. First, the government argues that the district court erred in concluding that Smith had standing to challenge the search of the rental vehicle he was driving.
