MIHM, Chief Judge.

Before this Court is Petitioner’s Motion for Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. For the reasons set forth herein, this Court DENIES the Motion for Writ of Habeas Corpus [# 2].

Background

On April 8, 1977, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio sentenced Petitioner, David Newlin (“Newlin”), to 15 years of confinement for armed robbery.
