Albert Palmer was indicted for the offense of having, controlling, and possessing alcoholic, distilled, and spirituous liquors on June 30, 1946. . The jury returned a verdict of guilty, and the defendant filed a motion for new trial based on the general and two special grounds. This motion was overruled, and the defendant excepted.
