In my view, the interests of officer safety justified dispensing with the requirement that the officers knock and announce their presence when executing this *223particular search warrant. Legitimate safety concerns were adequately identified and supported in the search warrant affidavit, and reevaluation at the scene did nothing to ameliorate those safety concerns.
