Pro se petitioner Victor Catala (“Cata-la”), incarcerated at New York State’s El-mira Correctional Facility (“Elmira”) following his conviction on a guilty plea for murder and other charges, seeks a writ of habeas corpus (the “Petition”) pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254.
