An unfortunate chain of events occurring at Albertson’s, Inc. (Albertson’s) store in Jacksonville, Florida, leads this court, in the exercise of diversity jurisdiction, to delve into Florida's shopkeeper’s immunity law. Jacqueline E. Morris brought this action against Albertson’s in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida claiming damages for false arrest.
