This suit was brought by the appellants, Frances L. Bickel and Margaret Bickel, as equitable plaintiffs, against the Pennsylvania Steel Company, a corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, to recover damages for the death of Boss L. Bickel, husband and father of the equitable plaintiffs, caused, as it is alleged, by the negligence of the defendant while he was engaged as its employee in the erection of the steel superstructure of a bridge across the Potomac Biver at Williamsport, Washington County, Maryland.
