delivered the opinion of the court.

Jacob Auman owned a store building in Kent in Stephenson county and lived over the store and in rooms attached to or adjoining the store. He and his son, George, conducted a general country store in the store part of the building, with a stock of dry goods, groceries, boots and shoes, etc. George wished to return to farming and Jacob did not feel able to conduct the store alone. For that reason they wished to sell the stock of goods, and placed it for sale in the hands of Sheridan, a real estate agent in another town. On July 22,…
