This action in ejectment was brought by appellant to recover the possession of a tract of 500 acres of land in Lewis county, hostilely held by appellees. The tract was within the grant to Thomas Keith for 20,626 acres, made in 1787, which now lies in Greenup and Lewis counties, mostly in Greenup'. Kieth conveyed in 1794, to Joshua Harlan, of, Philadelphia, but the deed was not recorded till 1851.
