Plaintiff J.K. will begin his senior year of high school this fall. He attended Southwest High School (“Southwest”) in Minneapolis for the past three years and would like to graduate from it. But defendant Minneapolis Public Schools (“the District”) has barred J.K. from attending Southwest because of misconduct that he allegedly committed near the end of his junior year.
