I. The original petition of plainti~ was au ordinary petition in foreclosure of a mechanic's lien. It set forth the names of other lien holders, and - asked to establish its own lien as prior and superior to all. The various mechanic ~s lien holders appeared, and filed answers and cross-bills, asking the fore-c'osure also of their respective liens. The prayer of these cross-bills in each case was a general one, asking for such equitable relief as the court found them entitled to.
