These two consolidated appeals arise from a title insurance coverage dispute between the insured, Doubletree Partners, L.P. (Doubletree), and its insurance company, Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation (Lawyers Title). Doubletree appeals the magistrate judge’s grant of Lawyers Title’s motion for summary judgment and denial of its cross-motion for summary judgment on Doubletree’s breach of contract claims and extracontractual claims.
