This is a suit brought by the plaintiff, a patrolman of the City of Philadelphia, against the said city, for the recovery of salary during the period of his suspension from duty. It was tried by a judge without a jury, and resulted in a finding for the plaintiff in the sum of $1801.10, covering the entire period of his suspension, to wit, from Novem*196ber 1, 1928, to the date of his restoration to duty, September 4, 1929.
