*726In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for negligence and defamation, the defendants appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Colabella, J.), entered August 20, 2008, as denied that branch of their motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against them by the plaintiff Marcia Biondo.
Ordered that the order is modified, on the law, by deleting the provision thereof denying that branch of the defendants’ motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the cause of action to recover…
