This suit was,instituted in the County Court of Jefferson County on March 4, 1905, by B. P. Pye against the Gilbert Book Company and Fleming & Fleming, a partnership composed of M. A. & J. V. Fleming to recover the sum of $300.50. A writ of garnishment was issue in the case, on proper application, garnisheeing funds of defendants in the possession of the Park Bank and Trust Company of Beaumont, Texas.
