Plaintiff brought this suit against C.L. Hayes; his employer, the Cook Truck Lines, Inc., and the insurance carrier of the truck lines, Bruce Dodson Company, to recover damages for personal injuries which he received when his automobile collided with a freight truck belonging to the said truck lines and driven by said Hayes on November 1, 1943, between 2:30 and 3:00 o'clock A. M. The accident occurred about a mile south of Independence in Tangipahoa Parish. Plaintiff asks for damages in the sum of $896.50 to cover his medical expenses and the sum of $2100 for personal injuries. The trial…
