Plaintiff in this diversity action is The Great Western Sugar Company (Great Western). Great Western is a Delaware corporation in the business of refining and selling beet sugar. Its principal place of business is in Denver. Defendants Mrs. Alison’s Cookie Company, Inc., St. Louis Bakers’ Co-Operative Association, Sugar Distributors, Inc., and Halben Food Manufacturing Company, Inc. are Missouri corporations based in St. Louis.
