Julie Aon Noble (“defendant”) appeals from the judgment entered after a jury found her guilty of involuntary manslaughter for her involvement in the death of Joseph Daniel Furr (“Daniel”) who died from alcohol poisoning at defendant’s home. On appeal, defendant argues that the trial court erred by: (1) denying her motion to dismiss the charge of involuntary manslaughter for insufficient evidence; and (2) allowing the State to present evidence of defendant’s alleged prior bad acts in violation of Rule 403 and Rule 404(b) of the North Carolina Rules of Evidence.
