BOYD, Justice.

Appellants George Bedford Hollings-worth and May Hollingsworth (the Holl-ingsworths) suffered a collision between an automobile driven by them and a horse belonging to appellees Pete and Bonnie King (the Kings). In this suit, they alleged the collision was caused by the Kings’ failure to properly fence the horse and lock the gates. In response to the Kings’ motion arguing they had no duty to fence the horse in, the trial court summarily dismissed the Hollingsworths’ suit to recover damages allegedly resulting from the collision.
