OPINION
EDELSTEIN, Chief Judge:
In October 1973, this court granted plaintiff’s motion for summary judg ment in plaintiff’s suit to recover the face amount, plus interest and costs, of an official bank check issued by defendant, and directed the parties to submit a proposed judgment for court approval. 370 F.Supp. 276 (SDNY 1973). Subsequently, plaintiff filed a proposed judgment which included $4,465.22 in interest computed for the period February 10, 1970 to November 10, 1973 (the date of the proposed judgment).
