The defendant, Fred Ward, was charged by indictment with the murder of Thomas Brown, age 14. In a bench trial, he was found guilty and sentenced to a term of 14 to 22 years in the penitentiary.

On appeal, defendant presents the following issues for review:(1) Whether the finding that he was sane at the time of the offense should be set aside;(2) Whether a psychiatric report which gave an opinion of the defendant’s sanity was properly admitted into evidence;(3) Whether the. trial court erred in excluding testimony offered by the defendant to support his defense of insanity.
