Plaintiffs are engaged as copartners in the electrical contracting business. They were the lowest bidders to perform the electrical work for an addition to Public School 35 in Brooklyn. They have obtained a judgment entered upon the verdict of a jury for $16,000 damages against the board of education of the city of New York, defendant-appellant. This recovery is in addition to the contract price which has been paid. The damages were due to delay in the starting and completion of the work.
