Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Goldstein, J.), rendered March 5, 1985, convicting him of murder in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant’s contention that he was deprived of the effective assistance of counsel is without merit. He argues that his counsel’s failure to pursue an alibi defense or request that an alibi charge be given to the jury was error.
