It appears from the record on appeal that in July, 1931, the defendant company, a Delaware corporation engaged in the business of selling gasoline, oil, and other petroleum products, in this State, appointed the plaintiff, Murray, under the provisions of a written contract entered into at that time by the parties, its commission agent at its service station near Eastover, S.
