MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
THEIS, District Judge.
This matter is before the court on plaintiff’s application for an order to show cause why defendant should not be held in civil contempt (Doc. 43). Plaintiff filed its application for an order to show cause why defendant Amoco Oil Company (Amoco) should not be held in civil contempt for violating the preliminary injunction of May 24, 1990. Plaintiff alleges that defendant’s modified mark (2100) is a colorable imitation of plaintiff’s 21C trademark and is so similar to plaintiff’s 21C trademark as to cause confusion, mistake, or both.
