INTRODUCTION

Rhoda Salemme (the “plaintiff’) brought this products liability action on May 28,1999, seeking damages for Type I latex allergies allegedly developed and suffered as a result of wearing and/or being exposed to latex gloves manufactured, designed, distributed and/or sold by the defendants. Victor Salemme, the plaintiffs husband, seeks damages for loss of consortium.3 Pursuant to Mass.R.Civ.P. 56(c), the defendants now move for summary judgment on the grounds that the plaintiffs’ claims are barred by the relevant three-year statute of limitations.
