The construction of an ineptly drawn promissory note is here involved, the same having arisen through the filing of a claim thereon against the estate of the deceased maker. A hearing before the county court of Whiteside county resulted' in the disallowance of the claim, which action was approved by the circuit court, and its judgment was affirmed by the Appellate Court. The case is now before this court by virtue of the granting of a petition for leave to appeal.
