FINAL COPY S17Y0375. IN THE MATTER OF TRENT CARL GAINES. PER CURIAM. This disciplinary matter is before the Court on the petition for voluntary surrender of license to practice law in the State of Georgia filed by Trent Carl Gaines (State Bar No. 282172), prior to the issuance of a formal complaint. Previously, Gaines sought voluntary discipline of a three-year suspension of license, which the State Bar opposed as an inadequate sanction for the conduct at issue in this disciplinary action. This Court rejected Gaines’s previous petition. See In the Matter of Gaines,
