The plaintiff in error, hereinafter called-the defendant, was charged with the unlawful possession of intoxicating liquor and with the destruction of evidence during a raid on the premises by officers. ITe was found guilty of possessing intoxicating liquor and guilty of destroying evidence.

The defendant was the holder of a license from the. city of Fond du Lac to sell non-intoxicating beverages in a building opposite the court-house square.
