These cases are in this court upon writs of certiorari to review the decision of the Court of Appeals in Willcox v. State Highway Board, 38 Ga. App. 373 (144 S. E. 214). The State Highway Board instituted proceedings in the superior courts *885of Telfair and Jeff Davis Counties for the condemnation of certain lands for a right of way for a State-aid road, for a bridge-site across the Oemulgee Elver, including its abutments and approaches (said bridge forming a link in said road), and for material used in the construction and building of said road.
