KRUEGER, Judge.

Appellant was convicted for the offense of murder. The punishment assessed is confinement in the state penitentiary for life.

This is a companion case to that of Lee v. State, decided by this court on the 10th day of November, 1948, and reported in 152 Texas Crim. Rep., 401; 214 S. W. (2d) 619. There is no material difference in the testimony in this case from the facts proved in that case, except that in this case the state introduced *144a purported confession made by appellant, the admissibility of which was questioned by him on the ground that it was not voluntarily made.
