TYSON, Judge.

Alfred Aldrian Adams (“defendant”) appeals from judgment entered after a jury found him to be guilty of: (1) first-degree rape pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-27.2(a); (2) first-degree kidnapping pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-39; (3) felonious breaking or entering pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-54(a); (4) two counts of first-degree sexual offense pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-27.4(a); (5) communicating threats pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-277.1; and (6) assault on a female pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-33(c)(2). We find no error in part, reverse in part, and…
